Enlivex's pipeline includes a family of small "tolerizing molecules" secreted from apoptotic cells for long-term maintenance of immunotolerance. These proprietary recombinant proteins and peptides are involved in "recruitment" of the innate immune system to clear apoptotic cells from the body without triggering an inflammatory or autoimmune response. Their therapeutic benefit would be to enhance ongoing immuno-tolerance for autoimmune and inflammatory conditions in a natural, physiological approach.
